  1. I stumbled upon your blog when researching Crazy Sexy Diet. I’m so happy I found it! I was wondering what kind of blender/juicer you used to make your shakes? Your food looked amazing! I’m not a vegan and really don’t aspire to be one full time but want to incorporate more plant based meals in my diet & life. I feel sick, sore, frazzled, fuzzy and tired all the time. Baby steps to getting healthier…

    • Hi Amanda! Thank you so much for stopping in and thank you so much for your kind words :) I’m so sorry that you haven’t been feeling well and unfortunately I know that feeling all too well. It is a big step to become vegan but I think adding more plant based meals is a good goal for sure. Have you read Crazy Sexy Diet? I really highly recommend trying the 21 day cleanse if you have. Even if you don’t change your entire lifestyle you will pick up some great habits from trying it out. I plan on trying to move back toward that lifestyle myself as I felt phenomenal while doing that cleanse!

      Honestly, my blender really sucks. My best tool for those smoothies is patience because they take a LONG time. I have to mix it all up and occasionally add more liquid to make them blend but eventually it all comes together! If you have the financial freedom to spend a little more money on a high speed blender I’d highly recommend one like a Vitamix. One day I will have one, unfortunately today is not that day! I am also dying to get a juicer and when I do it’ll probably be a middle of the road one like a Jack Lalanne juicer :)
