What Would YOU Like To See?

Hey friends! Same old here, just sitting tight, getting through this crazy season with at least a little bit of my sanity ;) I’m also working on getting back on track. I guess I was feeling like a lazy piece of crap since I had to put a hold on my training to figure out what was wrong. I’ve been back at the gym on my own now though and it feels great that I’ve been making the effort to work through feeling like crap to at least get some cardio in. Hopefully I’ll be back to training soon!! And I’m hoping that cleaning up my eating will help speed that process along.

Anyway, today’s post is actually a question for YOU, my friends. I’d like to know what you’d like to see on my blog in 2013. What would you like to see more of, and if there is anything you’d like to see less of please let me know!! Your feedback means a lot to me and it will help me to plan my posts better :)

I have also been toying with the idea of adding a new page called “Veganize It!” Throughout the past few years of blogging there have been challenges posed for veganizing recipes that I’ve just forgotten or never got to. I think it would be fun to keep a running list and as I create the recipes I can link to the post. I also thought it could include recipes that I could try and make healthier? And restaurant recreations since I had a great time doing that for Vegan MoFo! Please let me know what you think and also please let me know what recipes you’d like to see me veganize, healthify (not a word but I’m over it), or recreate.

That’s all for me! I appreciate all of your feedback in advance and I’m looking forward to another year of blogging! This break has been really great for me since I’ve come up with some new ideas and I’m working on a fun project with my friend which has me so excited and inspired!! More on that later!!

  1. Well, to be honest, I can’t think of anything else I’d like to see you post about that you already don’t post. I love to hear about your food as well as your training and everything else you choose to share.

  2. Breaks are definitely great, and I’m glad that yours has helped rejuvenate and refresh you! I’m also so happy for you that you are well enough to workout, such a big step towards healthy. As for your blog, I love what you’ve been doing – and wouldn’t change a thing! I love the idea about “veganize it”, I know that I would definitely utilize it fully. Feel free to healthify as well (it’s a word, if you ask me! Ha!).

    • Thanks Ingrid! Yeah I definitely needed a little break to get my mojo back ;) Thank you, it feels great to be able to get some workouts in!

      Aww thanks! I think sometimes I just get in a rut and feel like I need to change things around but I think the “veganize it” section will help with that. Let me know if there is anything in particular you’d like to see!

  3. 2013 is going to be a great year for you–I can feel it! :)

    I would love a Veganize It! page. I’d like to see vegan versions of all the best Starbucks drinks. And eggplant parmigiana…I miss that. How about an entire breakfast/brunch menu? I love going out to eat for breakfast, but there usually aren’t many vegan selections on the menu.

    I’d like to see more pictures of you. How about a video of you cooking? I also like seeing an entire day’s worth of food. It helps me plan my own meals. And I miss your Fun Friday posts with all the random stuff you like (even the non-food stuff). I like seeing what cool things you find on Pinterest.

    You have such a fun blog, and I love reading about your life, family, favorite things, and FOOD! :)

      Oooh thanks for the suggestions!! I’ll definitely work on some breakfast recipes as it’s my favorite meal of the day ;) The starbucks drinks are a great idea too! Oooh eggplant parm, yum! I’ll have to figure out how to make that healthy, mmm.

      I’ve thought about photos and videos and whatnot and I will eventually. Just need to get over the mental block haha. I’m working on convincing my friend to do a fun project with me but it’s going to take a little work haha! I hope she agrees because it’ll be soooooo fun!

      I’m definitely going to be doing full days of meals starting New Years Day since I’m planning on cleaning it up and getting back to the Crazy Sexy Diet way of eating. And Fun Friday will make a return!!

  5. I love the idea about “Veganize this” and I think that would be an awesome addition and one I’d definitely check back in for. I also check your blog almost daily for realistic gluten-free vegan eats, which seem to be really difficult to find. (I am in the diagnostic process for what I think is Celiac, and I’m already allergic to dairy). I also love it that your food is wholesome! You always have lots of veggies and fruits an just generally yummy looking food that makes you feel good to eat. And it’s pretty food. *_* Pretty vegan gluten free food is awesome! :-D

I like the idea too and I’m working on deciding on recipes I’d like to veganize and make healthy :) I’m so sorry that you have to go through that process, I know how unpleasant it is to have to go through tons of testing. I really appreciate your feedback and your kind words and I’m definitely getting back into the groove with making pretty, wholesome vegan and gluten free food :)

      Please let me know if there are any recipes you’d like to me make vegan and/or gluten free!

  7. Hey Sarah, happy new year and stuff! I like the ‘veganize it’ idea for sure, especially the healthifying aspect because it seems to suit your style. And one of my goals for my six months in Texas is to get in shape and eat well, so there’s a bit of a selfish reason for wanting healthy recipes and posts, ha ha. :) And yay for blogging, it really is tons of fun!
