Hello friends! Quick post today because I’m completely exhausted. Did some running around after work and I’m spent. So I’ll keep the chit chat short and just show you some pretty treats that came out of my kitchen.
The last baked treat to come out of my oven is also from Vegan Cookies Invade Your Cookie Jar. These are the Caramel Pecan Bars to which I added a little chocolate to the top 
Everything is better with chocolate, right?
They came out great! These are super sweet so a little goes a long way. Another great recipe!
In total contrast to that gooey, sweet, decadent dessert, here is the raw treat I made from Practically Raw. I couldn’t wait to try the kale chips and the Sour Cream and Onion flavor jumped out at me right off the bat!
Here they are all packed up in my paper bag 
They stayed pretty well! A little soggy but not too bad! The flavor is phenomenal! A little tangy, a little punch from the shallot. Definitely a winning recipe! Very excited about this one!

The kale chips sound pretty good. I always liked sour cream & onion flavored treats. Yum!
They are definitely decadent! I cut them smaller because I thought they’d be really rich. The chocolate was a great touch! Next time I’m going to add a little salt and make it a salted caramel pecan bar

Mmm, caramel pecan bars – heaven! And it’s been way too long since I’ve had kale chips, they’d be a great snack to have on hand over the holidays. I’ll have to keep that in mind!

Looks like a win on both sides of the flavor spectrum! Sweet and savory! My cheezy kale chips don’t have nearly enough topping on them compared to these beauties! I can see your kale consumption going up!

I agree! It’s funny because I don’t like the topping to be too thick (I’ve had some pretty intense, heavily flavored kale chips and wasn’t a huge fan) but these taste great! Oh my kale consumption will definitely be going up!!

Wow you’ve been getting some serious baking done in the last few days! Craziness! Everything looks delicious though, I need to catch up on holiday baking! But I finally finished school today so hopefully I can get some done

It’s nice when one has time to bake, dontcha think? Unfortunately, it’s not something one can decide to do with only 20 minutes free. It’s kind of an “event” (or at least that’s how I feel!).

It’s definitely nice when I have time and it is definitely a planned event. I like to really just get into it, bring my laptop into the kitchen and listen to music or podcasts and just get lost in it. It’s a great way to spend a few hours.
